This was a really nice place for dinner. It's near to the world square a little walk to other side. The ambience of this place was amazing, good interiors and nice welcoming colors and songs. The service was good and friendly, the food was amazing after long time we had some tasty Indian food. Everything was amazing the taste was good but was modified to a little bit sweeter tooth as the chicken chilli was more like sweet chicken and it didn't make much sense of the name. But regardless we loved everything and the experience was great.

Visited last month for the first time, coming from Brisbane we were really hungry and looking for a good restaurant. Due to parking issues couldn’t go to many places and finally we got a parking here with the help of Owner, which was very overwhelming for us. Thank you for offering help in need.
We ordered the Mo: Mo, Naan and Chick curry, spicy potato and chatpatey , everything was delicious and we loved every bites.

Had a lovely time at Kalapani Nepalese Restaurant near Town Hall. The food was delicious—flavorful, fresh, and really fun to eat with a great variety of traditional Nepalese dishes. The service was warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere was relaxed. Definitely a great spot if you’re looking to try something a bit different in the city. Will be back!

This is one of the very rare occasions that a restaurant receives nearly a 5 star rating.
All the dishes we ordered tasted incredibly delicious to the point that every morsel had a rich flavour.
Although, as we walked in as soon as the restaurant was open, we were informed of a slight delay in the serving time, the food arrived in a timely order.
The only minor that was missing was dessert. However, the food was so filling that we wouldn't have been able to fit it in.
Will definitely be visiting this restaurant during our next trip.

Kalapani in Sydney gave me vibes of being back in Boudha. The décor and music made me feel right at home, and the food was authentic and full of flavor. It felt like a quiet escape to Nepal right in the heart of the city.
Great service too! Perfect spot if you're missing Nepal or want to experience its culture.
